  • The sunset was worth the walk. Common Nighthawks did their aerial mating display. Even elusive Black Rails were heard calling and growling.
  • Over 70 people turned out to enjoy a hike through the park, catch the sunset and check out the local wildlife.
  • As evening approached and the night sky darkened, telescopes were set up by Mark Hardies and Joe Colontonis
