Salt Springs Alliance
Citizen Support Organization for
Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park
February 25, 2012

Our annual membership breakfast was held on a cool, but enjoyable, morning at the camping/picnic area. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits & gravy were served with coffee, milk, or orange juice. Fresh fruit and a variety of coffee cakes and donuts were also available. Even with about 100 people in attendance, there was plenty of good food to eat. After our 9:00 AM meal, we divided into four groups and enjoyed a walking tour of the new parking lot area and soon-to-be kayak/canoe launch area. The tours were led by Park Manager Christine Dorrier, Ranger Karyn and two additional park volunteers.
