Originally scheduled as a "Chute" to Double Hammock Creek paddle ... high winds, threatening rain, and even a tornado warning, caused us to take the safe route back to the springs. Due to the weather, we had a small group. But all enjoyed our short outing to Cauldron Spring and Salt Spring. We made it back to the launch just before it began pouring down rain.
